Toulouse/Paris

Hello everyone,   I am currently on the plane on my way to Toulouse, France. Myself, Anna, Maddie, and Allie are going there for a few days, then bopping over to Paris for another few days. My backpack is stuffed to the BRIM, as usual, because these shitty airlines (Ryanair/, easy jet, etc) only allow one bag as a free carryon, so I only bring my backpack and let me tell you packing 5 days in my school backpack just isn’t cutting it these days. So everyone feel blessed that I even brought my computer. I know the fans have been missing my blog posts, and I figured this was a solid chunk of free time (aka on the plane) that I would have time to write things, so here we are. I just wanted to let you all know that I got up to go to the bathroom, and have my wallet partially sticking out in the pocket of my jean jacket. I stood up to flush and my wallet fell into the toilet. I had to pull it out and now I am disgusted (if you were worried it was only pee). Hopefully things start lo...

highlands

Hey guys, hope  everyone is having a lovely day! I'd like to apologize in advance for the formatting of this post- things got a little janky and I could only spend so long trying to fix it before I threw my computer across the room. Here I will be recapping our trip to the highlands. This is northern Scotland for anyone (like me) who didn’t know that. I went with the girls who are in my study abroad program, plus a few of our other friends came along with us. This was a guided tour through our program, where we drove through on a tour bus and saw lots of sights very quickly.   Friday We started in the morning around 8 am, and now that I am no longer a morning person I was exhausted yet again. So obviously I get into the bus and proceed to sleep until our first stop, which was apparently around a 2 hour drive. We made it to a castle that is apparently in some tv shows (game of thrones I think?), take a picture, then get back into the car. That was basically the theme o...

Switzerland/Annecy

Annecy (most picturesque city ever) Hi guys, I am sorry again for my lack of posting! I actually had homework this week- gasp! I know it is shocking that I take classes abroad, considering I am always on weekend getaways, but you heard it here first. I am in fact in classes and have to do work sometimes. Anyways, I know no one came here to hear about that. Let’s talk about my trip to Geneva! It all started on a Friday morning, at about hmm yeah 3:30 am when I woke up. I had obviously gone to bed late, at like 12:30 because I was still packing and FaceTiming with Sue. So I woke up from my little nap and got ready to go on a long weekend trip with Allie and Maddie. They are both in my study abroad program, and I actually met Allie in London on our way to Edinburgh on our first flight here, because we are both from Massachusetts! broken chair monument?? So Allie is super organized, (unlike me- shocking), and made us a whole itinerary for the weekend. We set off fr...

Chocolate Tour

Hi fans, I would love to share with you all our chocolate tour we went on while in Brussels! I haven't had much down time in the past week to write about it, so I will be sharing it now :) As we all know, some of the best chocolate in the world is Belgian chocolate. Part of the fun in visiting Belgium is going to chocolate shops and trying some of their chocolate. Anna and I didn't want to spend a lot of money by going on some fancy guided tour, and wanted to work on our own schedule.. so we did our own chocolate tour. We modeled it after  https://www.earthtrekkers.com/brussels-chocolate-tour-on-your-own/  because this family knows what they are doing in regards to traveling and they are our new idols so we had to do their tour. (shoutout sue for finding them) Basically, their tour takes you on a nice little walking tour of the city all whilst getting to taste chocolate along the way. Win win. We started at Grand Place, and went to Neuhaus. Apparently they have really good ...
